                          Vortex Flow Turbines

Based on the proven reality of Zero-Point energy and foundational aspects of the Hydreno atomic model, a variety of vortex flow "turbines" are envisioned that are in some respects similar to conventional turbines. These Turbines produce power outputs substantially greater than their input requirements, drawing most of their output power from the local active vacuum of space through unique impellor designs, which provide continuous rotation without a conventional fuel source.

At least two vortex turbine designs have been reported using either compressed gas or fluid flow.    Vortex Turbines might be employed in applications calling for conventional Gas turbines if sufficient power density can be developed.  Extensive retrofitting to conventional equipment and infrastructure is a distinct possibility within the next decade although suppression from oil addicted vested interest has been a deterant.

Principles of Operation:

These unique turbines utilize the vortex motion of a dielectric fluid produced by pumping it through an outward spiraling impellor/rotor.  This peculiar motion causes complex angular momentum transients between the energetic vacuum and the fluid vortex. The resulting energy transients continually transfers energy to the turbine rotor as angular momentum and heat.  The impellor channels terminate with nozzles providing an additional tangential thrust to the rotor assembly in a conventional manner.

The working fluid is normally recirculated to provide closed loop operation without any emissions to the environment.  In effect, a vortex turbine appears to amplify pressure, heat and momentum converting the linear momentum and pressure of the working fluid to the angular momentum of the turbine rotor attended by a substantial energy gain.  The gain is provided by a coherent flow of Zero-Point energy from the vacuum, as is the case for all forces, static or otherwise.  Vortex turbines can be configured to be self powering by utilizing some of the output power to cool, pressurize and recirculate the working fluid.
